Vanessa Steiner is the new director of tennis at Duquesne University

Vanessa Steiner, a familiar face in Duquesne University athletic family over the past 5 years, has been promoted to a director of tennis. She became the Duke in fall of 2011, in her last playing season (graduating from Boston University), scoring record-tying 36 victories as a senior and was named and was named Atlantic 10 First-Team All-Conference. In the next two seasons, Steiner served as a graduate assistant before becoming an assistant coach in July 2014. The progress was obvious, as the Dukes scored 5 wins more than in 2014.
