Novak Djokovic: ‘Berdych had the first set in his hands, I’m not even close to my best’

Novak Djokovic knows that he needs to play better. The Serbian was not satisfied with his performance in his quarter-final despite beating Tomas Berdych in straight sets 7-6(6) 6-4.
[My play] wasn’t as close, not even close to the best, especially in certain parts of the game like serve, for example, which is a necessity at times, in conditions like this. So I was very fortunate to get away with the first set. And second set was slightly better, but still, things are not clicking 100%, but, you know, I’m moving on and hopefully it’s going to get better,’ said Djokovic, who overturned three straight set points in the first set tie-break to clinch it 8-6. Djokovic then talked about how he was able to win in straight sets despite not playing at his best.
