Gael Monfils won an entertaining quarter-final at the Rogers Cup against the home-favourite Milos Raonic, defeating the Canadian in straight sets 6-4, 6-4.
Talking about the match and the atmosphere surrouning it in his post-match press conference, the world no. 14 said, ‘It’s the same feeling [as Davis Cup]. I think I’m a guy, who’s always pumped up.
