Stewart Feeling Fine

Tony Stewart is enjoying the opportunity to once again be competitive. The three-time Sprint Cup Series champion has been running quite well since his return from injury that forced him to miss the first eight races of the season. Since coming back from off-season back surgery, Stewart has won a race and sits comfortably inside the top 30 of the point standings with a current berth in the Chase lineup. Stewart goes into Sunday’s Pennsylvania 400 at Pocono Raceway with pep in his step. “It’s a good feeling,” said Stewart, who has a series-best 8.7 average finish in the last six races. “It was just getting cars to feel right, that was the biggest thing – trying to get through the speculation of, ‘Can he do this anymore?’ and ‘Why is he not competitive?’
