Gordon Committed to Hendrick

Jeff Gordon remains committed to helping Hendrick Motorsports out for however long he’s needed. Gordon filled in for Dale Earnhardt Jr., who is still recovering from concussion-like symptoms, last week at Indianapolis Motor Speedway and came home 13th in the Brickyard 400. He’s back behind the wheel of the No. 88 Chevrolet for this week’s Pennsylvania 400 at Pocono Raceway and will continue to help the team in Earnhardt Jr.’s absence however he can. “I wouldn’t be here in Pocono if I wasn’t committed to be there for Hendrick Motorsports and this team in any way that they need me,” Gordon said Friday at Pocono. “I will be here as long as they need me.
