Making NASCAR’s product better at Indianapolis Motor Speedway is a priority.
Kyle Busch’s historic dominance over the weekend, sweeping both the XFINITY Series and Crown Royal 400 at The Brickyard, magnified the lack of on-track competiveness in both races. It’s a situation NASCAR is aware of and plans to address.
“We’ve got to put on the racing people want to see,” Steve O’Donnell, NASCAR’s executive vice president and chief racing development officer, said on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio’s “The Morning Drive.”
