Croatia win sees England U19s top

England U19s secured their third successive win at the European Championship to top Group B with a 2-1 victory over Croatia.
Chelsea forward Izzy Brown opened the scoring in the fourth minute before an own goal from Croatian defender Silvio Anocic doubled Aidy Boothroyd’s side’s advantage.
Nikola Moro pulled one back for Croatia in the second half but England held on to make in three from three as they move on to Thursday’s semi-final against Italy.
With England’s progress to the last four already secured, Boothroyd shuffled his pack to hand all of the outfield players in his squad game-time before the knockout stages.
