Declaring himself injury free after earning a mandatory heavyweight world title shot on Saturday, New Zealand’s Joseph Parker will stay busy against Solomon Haumono in a scheduled 12-round bout on July 21 at Horncastle Arena in Christchurch, New Zealand, promoter Duco Events announced on Monday.
Parker won a gruelling unanimous decision against Carlos Takam, the best opponent of his career, in Auckland, New Zealand, on Saturday to become the mandatory challenger for the world title held by England’s Anthony Joshua.
