Alex Rodriguez still lukewarm on weekend return

OAKLAND — The New York Yankees had originally hoped that Alex Rodriguez, out since May 4 with a hamstring strain, would be ready to rejoin the team when his disabled list stint ended on May 19. Well, May 19 has come and he is still not quite ready to return to action, and from the way it sounded, he may not come back until the Yankees return home next week.
