Adleman strains left oblique, exits start early

CINCINNATI — The already beat-up and shorthanded Reds rotation had another discouraging development on Thursday, when starting pitcher Tim Adleman exited early from his outing vs. the Indians with a strained left oblique. In the top of the fourth inning with one out, Adleman appeared to show some discomfort after bouncing an 0-1 pitch to Chris Gimenez and pointed to his left side.
