ATP ROME MASTERS: Can Lucas Pouille continue his Fairy Tale against Andy Murray?

The season’s fifth Masters 1000 has reached its last stages and only four players are left in the men’s singles draw. These four are set to put up a battle on Saturday, in order to be a step closer to the tournament’s title, and we have two solid matches ahead of us.
Andy Murray (GBR) [2] v/s Lucas Pouille (FRA) 14:30 The match that opens the men’s singles semi-final features two-time Major champion Andy Murray and probably the best story of Rome Masters, Lucas Pouille. It is well known that the Scot has become a real threat on clay-courts these days, and his results so far in the season on the surface confirm this. He reached the semi-finals in Monte Carlo, was a finalist in Madrid and is now bidding to play his second straight Masters 1000 final. Murray has had straight set wins over Mikhail Kukushkin (who made the main draw after beating Pouille in final round of qualifiers), Jeremy Chardy and David Goffin in his path to the semi-finals. On the other side, Frenchman Pouille, who as previously mentioned lost his qualification match against Kukushkin, got into Rome’s main draw as a lucky loser after the withdrawal of his compatriot Jo Wilfried Tsonga.
