Goldschmidt receptive to help with slow start

PHOENIX — D-backs first baseman Paul Goldschmidt stood in front of his locker before Friday’s game with the Giants and patiently answered questions about his slow start at the plate.

Goldschmidt showed signs of snapping out of his slump during Arizona’s three-game series at Coors Field earlier this week going 5-for-12 with a homer before going 0-for-4 against the Giants on Thursday.

There has been no shortage of advice, but actual answers have been elusive.
