Severino allows 7 runs, exits with sore elbow

NEW YORK — Yankees right-hander Luis Severino surrendered seven runs to the White Sox, then left the game with soreness on the back of his right elbow in the third inning. He was scheduled for an MRI later Friday night
Severino had just surrendered a long two-run homer to Jimmy Rollins when he was visited on the mound by head athletic trainer Steve Donohue and Yankees manager Joe Girardi, who briefly conferred with Severino before making a pitching change.
