Giants’ Casilla apologizes to Bochy for outburst

San Francisco Giants closer Santiago Casilla has apologized to Bruce Bochy after an emotional exchange when the manager pulled him in the ninth inning of Thursday night’s 4-2 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Casilla had added fuel to the fire with some postgame comments, telling reporters the move showed “the manager didn’t have faith in me” and that there was “no reason” for him to talk to Bochy.
However, Casilla reversed course Friday and told reporters he met with Bochy to apologize for his outburst.
For his part, Bochy told reporters he considers the situation “over.”
