JamesWashington American James Washington (182-PG-87) had an amazing evening in the last round for Boras and that’s him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 11.The 29-year old playmaker had the game-high 30 points adding five rebounds and six assists for Boras in his team’s victory, helping them to beat Umea (#8, 1-8) 94-87. Boras maintains the 5th position in Swedish Basketligan. They would have been even better if they hadn’t lost a few games earlier this season. Boras will need more victories to improve their 5-4 record. In the team’s last game Washington had a remarkable three three-pointers out of 6 attempts. He turned to be Boras’ top player in his first season with the team. Middle Tennessee State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Washington is in league’s top in points (2nd best: 19.4ppg), assists (2nd best: 5.7apg) and averages solid 56.1% FGP and 44.0% from behind 3-point line.The second most remarkable performance in last round’s games was another Boras’ star – 37-year old American center Michael Palm (210-C-79).
