Sweden – James Washington gets MVP of the Week award for Swedish Basketligan

JamesWashington American James Washington (182-PG-87) had an amazing evening in the last round for Boras and that’s him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 11.The 29-year old playmaker had the game-high 30 points adding five rebounds and six assists for Boras in his team’s victory, helping them to beat Umea (#8, 1-8) 94-87. Boras maintains the 5th position in Swedish Basketligan. They would have been even better if they hadn’t lost a few games earlier this season. Boras will need more victories to improve their 5-4 record. In the team’s last game Washington had a remarkable three three-pointers out of 6 attempts. He turned to be Boras’ top player in his first season with the team. Middle Tennessee State University graduate has very impressive stats this year.
