JordanSemple French-American Jordan Semple (201-F-92) put on an amazing game in the last round for Akademik PL and that’s him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 7.The 24-year old forward had a double-double of 42 points and eleven rebounds, while his team beat Spartak Pleven (#7, 2-4) 95-82. Akademik PL is placed at 3rd position in Bulgarian NBL. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Akademik PL will need more victories to improve their 4-2 record. Semple turned to be Akademik PL’s top player in his first season with the team. Cal State – Chico graduate has very impressive stats this year. Semple is league’s best scorer averaging so far 27.2ppg and leads league in rebounds with 11.8rpg. Semple is in league’s top in and averages solid 1.7bpg and 71.6% FGP.The second most remarkable performance in last round’s games was 29-year old Montenegrin center Milovan Savic (205-C-87) of Spartak Pleven.
