Ukraine – Sergeychik number one in Ukrainian Higher League for round 9

EvgeniSergeychik Guard Evgeni Sergeychik (185-G-94) had a great game in the last round for second-ranked Krivbas-2, receiving a Eurobasket.com Higher League Player of the Week award for round 9.The 22-year old player was the main contributor (34 points, five rebounds and six assists) to his team’s victory, helping them to outclass Zolotoi Vek (#3, 5-3) with 27-point margin 90-63. Krivbas-2 is placed at 2nd position in their group in Ukrainian Higher League. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Krivbas-2 will need more victories to improve their 6-2 record. In the team’s last game Sergeychik had a remarkable 68.4% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Krivbas-2, through which he has constantly improved. Evgeni Sergeychik has solid league stats. He is in league’s top in points (3rd best: 21.3ppg), assists (3rd best: 5.9apg) and averages impressive 4.5spg and 61.0% FGP.The second best player in last round’s games was young Ivan Shapoval (197-F-97) of Kremen-2.
