Carl LindbomCarl Lindbom (206-SF-91) had an amazing evening in the last round for Helsinki Seagulls and that’s him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 1.The 25-year old had a double-double of 24 points and twelve rebounds, while his team beat BC Nokia (#7, 0-1) 83-76. It allowed Helsinki Seagulls to jump to the first place in the Finnish Korisliiga. But it’s just the very beginning of the season and Helsinki Seagulls won just one (their first) game. It’s too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. In the team’s last game Lindbom had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Helsinki Seagulls, through which he has constantly improved.The second most remarkable performance in last round’s games was 27-year old American forward Al’Lonzo Coleman (201-F-89) of Salon Vilpas. Coleman impressed basketball fans with 20 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists. Of course he led Salon Vilpas to another comfortable win outscoring KTP Basket (0-1) 86-58.
