Jyles Smith American Jyles Smith (207-F-92) had an amazing evening in the last round for Horsholm and that’s him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 1.The 24-year old forward had a double-double of 14 points and fourteen rebounds, while his team beat Randers (#8, 0-2) 72-62. Horsholm is placed at 2nd position in Danish Ligaen. But it’s just the very beginning of the season and Horsholm won just one (their first) game. It’s too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. Smith turned to be Horsholm’s top player in his first season with the team. Savannah State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Smith leads league in rebounds with 14.0rpg. Smith is in league’s top in assists (7th best: 4.0apg) and averages solid 3.0spg.The second most remarkable performance in last round’s games was American forward Tanner McGrew (203-F, agency: Duran International) of SISU.
