Truex Says It’s Time to Win at Michigan

Martin Truex Jr. believes the time has come for him to succeed at Michigan International Speedway.
The Furniture Row Racing driver has made 21 Sprint Cup Series starts at the two-mile superspeedway and has five top-10 finishes, including a pair of runner-up performances. As he enters Sunday’s Pure Michigan 400, Truex is ready to win.
“Looking at the past three races at MIS, we had the speed to get a victory or two,” said Truex. “We came close twice last year with a pair of third-place finishes and back in June, we were competitive – qualified second and led laps before spinning while passing a lapped car. That was another opportunity we let slip away.”
