Red Sox quartet nearing return to roster

DETROIT — Four Red Sox players — starter Steven Wright, left fielder Chris Young, reliever Koji Uehara and catcher Ryan Hanigan — have all been placed on the 15-day disabled list since the beginning of August.
All four of them are nearing their returns. Wright (right shoulder strain) will throw a bullpen session Sunday and expects to throw another Tuesday, though manager John Farrell said before Saturday’s 3-2 win over the Tigers that the team will decide whether he will need another one after …
