Sixth Annual 24-Hour Bike Challenge Set for Aug. 19-20

RALEIGH, NC – For the sixth consecutive year the Carolina Hurricanes will participate in the Raleigh Orthopaedic 24-Hour Bike Challenge to benefit the Kids ‘N Community Foundation. The event will begin at 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 19, and will run through 6 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 20, at EXOS @ Raleigh Orthopaedic, 2400 Sumner Blvd. #120 in Raleigh.
The event includes teams of participants riding stationary bikes in shifts for a 24-hour period, with shifts ranging from 10 minutes to an hour or more. …
