Three HRs not enough as A’s fall to Seattle

OAKLAND — The streaking Mariners rolled to another victory on Sunday afternoon, getting four RBIs from third baseman Kyle Seager in an 8-4 decision over the A’s for a series win at the Coliseum.
Seager notched two doubles, his second clearing the bases in the sixth inning, to help the Mariners secure their eighth win in their last nine games while remaining two games back of an American League Wild Card spot. Adam Lind chipped in with a solo home run, his 17th of the season.
