Jeff Janis Injury: Updates on Packers WR’s Hand and Return

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jeff Janis suffered a hand injury earlier this week that could cost him significant time for the rest of this preseason.

Janis Suffers Fractured Hand Saturday, Aug. 13
Per ESPN.com’s Rob Demovsky, Janis fractured “at least one of the bones in his right hand” during a practice session on Wednesday.
This is a setback for the Packers if Janis is forced to miss extensive time, even if he isn’t an elite playmaker.
Janis enters his third season in the league in 2016 with a mere four catches for 95 yards in regular-season play, but he did flash his potential during Green Bay’s divisional-round loss to the Arizona Cardinals last season. He tallied seven catches for 145 yards and two touchdowns, one of …
