Ahly in must win clash against Zesco

As the Orange CAF Champions League group stage enters its penultimate match day, Egyptian giants Al Ahly find themselves in a must win situation when they entertain Zambia’s ZESCO United on Friday in Suez.
The Red Devils revived their semi-final bid when they returned from the Moroccan capital Rabat, with a crucial 1-0 victory over group leaders Wydad Athletic Club. Defender Ramy Rabiaa’s header was all Ahly needed to record their first win at the pool stage, a victory that raised their tally to four points, three shy of Wydad and ZESCO who share the top spot with seven points each.
A victory in Suez will put Ahly back on track in the race for a semis berth. With a tricky away test in Abidjan in the final day against Ivorian side ASEC Mimosas in a fortnight, the record winners with eight titles know that they have their destiny in their own hands this weekend.
