Carl Frampton is delighted to be voted best British world champion by Sky Sports readers but admits he’d have put Tyson Fury top of the pile.
The recently-crowned WBA Super featherweight world champion earned top spot in the poll in which almost 400,000 votes were cast.
We asked Sky Sports readers to pick the best fighter from Britain’s 14 world champions.
Frampton edged Anthony Joshua for first place, with Kell Brook third, Anthony Crolla fourth and Fury in fifth place.
The Jackal was honoured to find out he came first but when asked who he would vote for – not including himself – the two-weight champion admits he would have opted for the ‘Gypsy King’.
