Titles for Anderson and White

Gary Anderson and Ian White each won titles in a busy weekend of darts action at the latest two Players Championship events staged in Barnsley.
While reigning world champion Anderson beat Terry Jenkins in a close run final on Saturday, White emerged victorious 24 hours later with a win over Benito van de Pas.
Anderson, the world No 2 Scot, was pushed all the way by Jenkins who lost 6-5 but enjoyed his best tournament of the year.
The Welshman made more maximums than Anderson in the final – five to four – but fell short at the last hurdle.
