Right elbow strain forces Pearce from game

CHICAGO — Orioles outfielder Steve Pearce exited Sunday’s 10-2 victory over the White Sox after four innings with a right elbow strain.
Pearce, who was acquired on Monday’s non-waiver Trade Deadline, received a cortisone shot and was optimistic he would be able to avoid the disabled list.
