- Updated: August 7, 2016
The Men’s Olympic Tennis tournament got underway on Saturday, with Kei Nishikori, Marin Cilic and Kyle Edmund booking their spot in the second round.
Nishikori cruised to a win over Albert Ramos-Vinolas, while Cilic didn’t have it any harder against Grigor Dimitrov. Edmund beat Jordan Thompson, but Jack Sock lost in two sets against Japan’s Taro Daniel.
Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray will be in action on Sunday.
