Documentary shares history of Philadelphia Stars

PHILADELPHIA — The spotlight will shine upon the Philadelphia Stars in a new documentary.
“They Said We Couldn’t Play: An Oral History of the Philadelphia Stars” debuts at 8 p.m. ET Thursday on CSN. The 90-minute program digs into the story of “prejudice, comradeship, injustice, triumph and their pure love of the game.”
Phillies first baseman Ryan Howard narrates the film.
