Big Wins Galore at 888poker This Past Week

Scores of online poker tournament specialists have bagged themselves large scores this week thanks to some of the value-packed events held at 888Poker, the world’s second-largest online poker site.
Last Wednesday, Ukraine’s “r2rka” topped a field of 613 in the $25,000 Wednesday Challenge 2nd Chance, turning $35 into a wallet-popping $4,769.34, defeating Germany’s “waldi9999” heads-up for the title, leaving the latter to make do with the still sizable $3,458.97 runner-up prize.
The first five-figure score of the past seven days went to “Vocaaas” of the Czech Republic after they won the $40,000 Quarterback, outlasting 200 opponents in the $215 buy-in tournament.
Also on Thursday, there was an Austrian one-two in the $20,000 Thursday Challenge, a superb event costing a mere $12 to enter, yet one that saw the final six finishers bank more than $1,000 each, proving you don’t have to risk a lot to win big at 888poker.
Towards the weekend, “Darkknight79” won $4,002 by taking down the $20,000 Friday Challenge, with “5d2031826” …
