Ravens waive RB Richardson; former No. 3 pick

OWINGS MILLS, Md. — The Baltimore Ravens waived running back Trent Richardson, which might have been the former first-round pick’s last opportunity to return to the NFL.
Richardson, 26, the No. 3 overall pick of the 2012 draft, has been on four teams in the last four seasons and has not played in the league since 2014. His career average is 3.3 yards per carry.
