Dancing team go Galactic

News of the pick of the action from Salisbury where there was more success for the connections of Dancing Star.
The combination of owner Jeff Smith, trainer Andrew Balding and jockey David Probert proved to be a potent force once again after Galactic Prince gained a first career win in the second division of the M J Church EBF Stallions Maiden Stakes at Salisbury.
Fresh from teaming up to take victory in the Stewards’ Cup at Goodwood on Saturday with Dancing Star, the trio were back in the winner’s enclosure after the 7-2 shot built on his debut fifth at Ascot when handling the soft conditions best of all to claim a two-length success.
Balding said: “I was very happy with him but only time will tell what the form of it amounts to, though.
“I thought he did it nicely and has improved a lot from his first run. His mother (Opera Gal) handled everything and he will probably be the same and go on anything.
“He handled the step up in trip and I think for the time being we will stay at the trip. He will get further in time with more runs under his belt.”
