Rogers Cup 2016: Thursday Scores, Results and Updated Toronto Masters Schedule

Three rounds into the 2016 Rogers Cup, things are looking awfully good for the top players in the field.
Novak Djokovic, Angelique Kerber and Stan Wawrinka moved their way into the quarterfinals Thursday, though it wasn’t a complete breeze for the latter two.
Kerber dropped her first set against Elina Svitolina before winning a match-saving tiebreak in the second and pulling out the third for a 1-6, 7-6 (2), 6-4 triumph. Wawrinka needed a tiebreak in the first set before breezing in the second to complete a 7-6 (3), 6-2 win over Jack Sock.
Djokovic, though, is still pretty awesome at tennis.
The world No. 1, playing in prime time, looked unfazed by his Wimbledon ouster or his second-round struggles against Gilles Muller on Tuesday.
He needed less than an hour-and-a-half to earn a 6-2, 6-4 win over Radek Stepanek on Thursday, overcoming five aces with his own excellent service game. Stepanek broke Djokovic just once and won only 12 return points overall.
