BALTIMORE — Rockies rookie Jon Gray pitched a dominant seven innings to lead a red-hot Colorado team to Wednesday’s 3-1 series win over the American League East-leading Orioles at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.
Fresh off a series sweep against Atlanta, the Rockies have now won six of their past seven games.
Colorado chased Orioles rookie starter Dylan Bundy, who was perfect through 5 1/3 innings, from the game after a pair of homers in the sixth. Nick Hundley got things going with a two-run blast that also scored Mark Reynolds, and David Dahl followed with his first career homer.
