Dominic Thiem has been suffering an hip injury for two weeks and retired down 1-4 in the first set against Kevin Anderson. The World No. 9 is paying all the effort he gave in the first part of the season where he played more than 60 matches: ‘When I planned my schedule last year, didn’t expect to get so far’, he said in press conference.

But it’s not time to have regrets. Thiem needs to think only about healing: ‘I felt it since like two weeks or something.
