Mets-Cardinals rained out; twin bill today

NEW YORK — Monday’s series opener between the Mets and Cardinals was postponed due to rain. The teams will play a single-admission doubleheader today beginning at 4:10 p.m. ET, with the second game beginning approximately a half hour after the first.
Fans holding tickets for Monday’s game cannot use them for today’s doubleheader, unless they exchange them in person at the Citi Field ticket windows. Fans may also exchange them for tickets to any other regular-season home game, pending availability, and excepting July 30 against the Rockies and Aug. 1-2 against the Yankees.
Only tickets for today’s originally scheduled 7:10 p.m. game will be valid for admission to the doubleheader.
