Just a week after his ATP debut in Washington, reigning Wimbledon junior champion Denis Shapovalov (ranked 370th) stunned 11th seed Nick Kyrgios in the first round of the Canada Masters in Toronto. 17-year-old who needed the wild card to enter the main draw prevailed by 7-6 3-6 6-3 against the rival who looked like a bigger junior than Denis himself, making 18 double faults and a huge number of unforced errors, totally uninterested in the most part of the match. Denis did just about everything right, with 37 winners and 34 unforced errors, ripping some amazing shots from both wings and using his serve well, especially from the advantage court.
