Source: Cubs, Yanks have deal for Aroldis

The Cubs have agreed to a deal to acquire hard-throwing left-hander Aroldis Chapman from the Yankees, a source told MLB.com’s Jesse Sanchez. The clubs have not confirmed.
The Yankees will receive a multiplayer package in return for Chapman, headlined by 19-year-old shortstop Gleyber Torres, the Cubs’ No. 1 prospect and No. 24 overall per MLB Pipeline. Torres, who may eventually switch to second or third base, was hitting .275 with nine homers in 94 games for Class A Advanced Myrtle Beach.
The Yankees will also receive outfielder Billy McKinney, right-hander Adam Warren and outfielder Rashad Crawford.
Chapman, 28, is 3-0 with 20 saves and a 2.01 ERA in 31 appearances this season, striking out 44 batters in 31 1/3 innings. He is eligible for free agency after this …
