Are Super-Coaches the Real Reason for Players’ Success?

Let’s start with facts. With a super-coach in a player’s team, in some cases more than one such super-coach, it is easier to win tournaments.
To become a great tennis player, one needs large number of variables like talent, mental strength, physical fitness, form and luck. Most importantly a player also needs a good team, who can help develop the player’s tennis career. But in the last few years, several top-players have decided to entrust their careers to the care of super-coaches or super-consultants, in the form of former-tennis pros. Such partnerships have been successful too, leading the players to achieve great results. But their work also seems to be more mentally and tactically influential.Andy Murray, under the guidance of Ivan Lendl has won Wimbledon twice, and the US Open.
