With Chen ailing, Cosart will start Monday

MIAMI — Marlins left-hander Wei-Yin Chen did not throw his scheduled bullpen session on Saturday due to an undisclosed issue, and more details on the veteran will be addressed by manager Don Mattingly after Sunday’s game against the Mets at Marlins Park.
The club has not made any announcements on Chen, but MLB.com has confirmed that right-hander Jarred Cosart is being called up from Triple-A New Orleans to start on Monday against the Phillies in Miami.
Chen is dealing with some sort of discomfort, and the club is hoping it isn’t anything serious. The lefty was not in the clubhouse on Sunday morning during the time allotted to the media.
Mattingly didn’t address the media in the morning.
Chen, who turned 31 on July 21, is 5-4 with a 4.99 ERA in 19 starts. The left-hander’s 110 innings pitched are third most on the …
