U18 European Junior Championships in Klosters is reaching the closing stage, with quarter-final matches being played on Friday. The first seed, Stefanos Tsitsipas, will play in the semi-final for the second year running, in what is his final chance to win this prestige event. He defeated his doubles partner with whom he won Wimbledon a few weeks ago, Kenneth Raisma, by 6-2 7-5. Better-ranked and more quality player at the moment have won the first set easily, with Raisma showing his fighting spirit in the second set, only to fell short in the end. 3rd seed from France, Geoffrey Blancaneaux, Roland Garros champion, will be Tsitsipas’ next rival, in what will be an …
