France wins two gold medals in classic team events

Murau (22/07/2016) – France celebrated two gold medals as the second competition day of the 2016 ECA Junior Wildwater Canoeing European Championships in Austria brought classic team races.
French representatives were unbeatable in men’s kayak and canoe team events. Nicolas Sauteur, Julien Saliba and Erienne Klatt set the fastest time in men’s C1 classic team race to win the first gold medal of the day for France. Czech team (Michal Smoldas, Vojtech Skorepa and Jan Klima) was second and Italians Giacomo Bianchetti, Riccardo Fiorese and Tommasco Mapelli were third.Another gold for France was won by men’s junior kayak team.
