Sabres’ Kane charged for June bar incident

Buffalo police say Sabres forward Evander Kane has been charged with four counts of noncriminal harassment and one count of misdemeanor trespass after an incident at a city bar last month.
Kane met Buffalo detectives in front of the central booking bureau, where he was put in handcuffs and led into the city court building.
Kane’s attorney, Paul J. Cambria, told the Buffalo News that they plan to fight the charges.
“Without a doubt, he plans to defend himself against these charges,” Cambria said, according to the newspaper.
