Police investigating why officers didn’t cite Denard Robinson after crash

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office’s investigation into the actions of police officers who responded to a single-car accident involving Jacksonville Jaguars player Denard Robinson is still ongoing, but the sheriff’s office on Wednesday released traffic camera footage that shows the moments before Robinson drove his car into a retention pond on July 3.
The footage shows Robinson’s Chevy Impala slowly driving through an intersection on the wrong side of the road shortly after 4 a.m. In one angle, the car moves out of camera range. In another angle, the car can be seen slowly moving down the road …
