Knight hoping for rainy days

William Knight is keeping his fingers crossed for rain ahead of Tuesday’s Qatar Vintage Stakes at Goodwood.
Knight is eager to run Jackhammer in the Group Two event after he ran out a comfortable winner at Salisbury on what was his racecourse bow last month.
However, that victory came on soft ground and Knight would like to see some rain in order for his charge to line up in the seven-furlong heat.
