YouStake Performance of the Week: Last Bracelet of the Summer Goes To Michael Tureniec

This week’s YouStake Performance of the Week is Sweden’s Michael Tureniec. While all eyes in the poker world were fixated heavily on the 2016 World Series of Poker Main Event final table, Tureniec won his first gold bracelet in the $1,111 Little One for One Drop.
The $1,111 Little One for One Drop attracted a big field of 4,360 entries, with players having the option to buy-in for $1,000 for 5,000 in tournament chips, but then receive an additional 5,000 in chips for $111 extra that would go to the One Drop Foundation charity.
Tureniec won the event and the big $525,520 first-place prize, which proved to be his third largest score ever, and the Swede now boasts $3.765 million in live tournament earnings.
The road for Tureniec was a tough one, given that the field was so large, and it was filled with so many tough players. At the final table alone, Tureniec had to defeat Calvin Anderson in heads-up play, and Ryan D’Angelo finished in third place. If that’s not a tough …
