APR crowned Rwanda champions, head coach Khanfir leaves

APR’s league coronation on Sunday, 17 July 2016, turned sour moments after with Tunisia-born trainer Nizar Khanfir announcing his exit.
Khanfir told the media he is due to return home as his six-month contract runs out at the end of the season.
“I had a contract for six months; I will return home because there are other responsibilities – family, social and professional. We have to know that everyone has problems so I will continue to discuss with the leaders [of APR] and see if there will be some changes but for now I going home,” Khanfir said.
