Texas Tech lineman rips suit pants, dons jeans at Big 12 media days

DALLAS — Texas Tech offensive lineman Baylen Brown endured an untimely setback Monday morning, right before his appearance at Big 12 media days: The big man ripped his pants.
The 6-foot-5, 309-pound lineman sat down for breakfast with his teammates and his suit pants just couldn’t handle it.
“I caught ’em on the chair when I was sitting down and tore ’em, like, belt loop to zipper,” Brown said Monday. “Right in the crotch area. And I noticed, trust me. Felt a little breeze.
“It was funny. Typical offensive lineman thing to happen.”
