French Open 2016 Results: Women’s Final Score and Men’s Final Predictions

Garbine Muguruza stunned Serena Williams 7-5, 6-4 to win the 2016 French Open crown on Saturday, stripping the defending champion of her title in confident fashion at Roland Garros.
The 22-year-old won the first Grand Slam of her career in a straight-sets shocker and prevented Williams, a three-time champion in Paris, from clinching back-to-back French Open titles.
Muguruza also became the first Spaniard to claim the women’s crown at Roland Garros since compatriot Arantxa Sanchez Vicario did so in 1998, where she also defeated an American opponent—Monica Seles.
The official Roland Garros Twitter account provided footage of the lob that befuddled Williams and won Muguruza her first-ever major, seemingly as much of a surprise to her as it was to her final foe:

In the men’s singles, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray will duel for French Open glory on Sunday, each seeking their maiden titles at Roland Garros in a re-staging of this year’s Australian Open final.
World No. 1 Djokovic is hoping to finally complete his Grand Slam collection with victory in the French final, while Murray has already clinched some history, according to the official Wimbledon Twitter account:
